Brandywine Plaza Hotel is looking for a Hotel Front Desk Receptionist to serve as our guests’ first point of contact and manage all aspects of their accommodation.

Responsibilities include registering guests, managing reservations and providing information about rooms, rates and amenities. Hotel Front Desk Agent responsibilities include registering guests, managing reservations and providing information about rooms, rates and amenities. If you have a knack for customer service and work experience in the hotel industry, we’d like to meet you. Ultimately, you will help create a pleasant and memorable stay for our guests. 

Job Type: Full-Time

Pay: $15.84 - $18.00 an hour

Our hotel is looking for an experienced Housekeeping Manager. Must have 5 years housekeeping experience with 2 years management experience (MIN).

Responsibilities:

• Monitor all the daily operations of the housekeeping department, including the cleanliness of all guest rooms and public areas daily
• Lead and train hotel housekeeping staff to adhere to our high standards of cleanliness and customer satisfaction
• Oversee the housekeeping department inventory, and ensure there is a stock of adequate cleaning supplies
• Document areas cleaned by room attendants and report any issues such as room damage or maintenance requests to the front office
• Ensure all cleaning equipment is in proper working condition and make arrangements for repairs as needed

Qualifications:

• A minimum of High school diploma or GED is required (Associates in Hospitality preferred)
• 2+ years of supervisory experience in housekeeping management as an executive housekeeper, housekeeping director, or other similar position
• At least 5+ years' experience in hospitality or guest services
• Extensive knowledge of environmental services, including detailed cleaning processes and a wide range of cleaning supplies and equipment
• Applicants should be an excellent leader, detail-oriented, and demonstrate a commitment to customer service.

Pay: $13.00 - $16.00 per hour

We are looking for a thorough Maintenance Technician to undertake the responsibility to preserve the good condition and functionality of our premises.

Responsibilities

• Conduct general upkeep procedures (e.g. landscaping) and other tasks as assigned (painting, carpentry, plumbing etc.)
• Perform maintenance of electrical systems (replace light bulbs and sockets, clean and repair circuit breaker panels etc.)
• Assist in the setup of ventilation, refrigeration and other systems and conduct repairs when necessary
• Perform manual repairs when necessary (fix locks, replace windows etc.)
• Undertake activities of pest control such as spraying insecticide.
• **HVAC Experience is a plus**

Skills

• Proven experience as maintenance technician
• Knowledge of general maintenance processes and methods
• Working knowledge of tools, common appliances and devices
• Manual dexterity and problem-solving skills
• Good physical condition and strength with a willingness to work overtime

Pay: $18.00 - $21.00 per hour

Brandywine Plaza Hotel is looking for a Night Auditor to assist guests with their overnight requests and balance accounts from the day shift. Night Auditor responsibilities include checking in guests, handling their requests and taking reservations. Ultimately, you will provide excellent customer service to guests and keep the front desk and accounting operations running smoothly.

Responsibilities

• Check in guests, answer phones and take reservations
• Respond to guest complaints, requests and emergencies
• Process invoices, post checks to vendors and distribute employee checks
• Reconcile accounts
• Balance the cash drawer and log receipts
• Investigate and resolve out-of-balance accounts

Skills

• Proven experience as a Night Auditor or in a similar role, preferably in the hospitality industry
• Experience with accounting and facilities management software
• Excellent math skills
• An eye for detail
• Good problem-solving skills
• Strong customer service skills
• The ability to multitask
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Availability to work overnight
• BSc in accounting, finance or relevant field

Pay: $14.00 - $16.00 per hour

We are looking for a motivated, positive, and friendly breakfast attendant. Breakfast attendants oversee all aspects of the breakfast service at the hotel's breakfast buffet. This includes preparing for and setting up breakfast buffets, maintaining the buffet, establishing a rapport with guests, breaking down and cleaning up after service.

Pay: $12.00 - $13.00 an hour
